"I would like to extend an invitation to your students to contribute to this weekly celebration of local art. Our shows are 18+ and located at the Valarium & Ciderhouse. If you have any students that are interested in displaying their artwork or painting live, please have them contact me at kusum@themidnightvoyage.com."
do we want to maybe consider offering them some game-inspired visuals / live vj-ing?
just a thought.
ya if anyone ever wants to get involved with setting up a 4D art display (ideally interactive) at that or any other local electronic shows please let me know. (incase yall dont know me by my screen name im michael rasnake the tall dude with long hair and lip ring) anyways i have a lot of connections within the club realm here and nashville/louisville/ashville etc. and have been trying to get some stuff set up but 1st im one person, 2nd school has made it hard (but after grad in may im hitting the ground running so if you want some work...) 3rd im still a little lacking in technical knowledge (since UT doesn't actually teach you how to use any programs, just the concepts. im not bitter i promise... lol). but ya hit me up in class some time. i actually have a lot of open doors, im just not quite ready to go through them alone, so give me a shout, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE PROGRAMMING ABILITIES!!!!! i want to learn to write code but im too busy trying to graduate.

ReplyDeleteI'm kinda in the same boat as michael, super busy semester with 2 jobs, no car.
