Story Lovers

Story lovers are people who play games for the story.  They may choose the easiest difficulty just to play the game to experience the story.  These types of gamers may usually lean towards RPGs and Action/Adventure games, but some shooters and fighting games also have pretty cool narratives as well.

  1. Emphasizing the story seems to be something that game companies are beginning to do in order to attract more casual players (and even non-players) as well. The narrative heavy L.A. Noire (which was actually the first video game to screen at the Tribeca Film Festival) even allows players to skip the action sequences if they so chose.
