A spectator is someone who watches another individual play games. I personally cannot do this. I get frustrated and want to control the action going on screen instead of just watching the gamer play. However some people enjoy this. My brothers for example enjoy watching me play games, but refuse to join in or play themselves.
I like the term. I'd like to add to it. A BACKSEAT GAMER is one that can't help but offer advice on what you should be doing while you're playing.
ReplyDeleteInside an FPS, a spectator is a player who has not yet joined or been assigned a team and thus is on the outside watching the game, map, and the players.
