by way of providing/modifying content, mechanics, and/or
aesthetics to appropriate or mimic.
but we also saw how really interesting forms of video game
art are interested in collapsing the worlds of the 'real'
and the 'game' world into one relational space.
thus the thesis of lecture that we ran out of time on -
ethnographic gamer art serves as a link between
the game world and the non-game world, immediately
calling into question the 'separation' between the two.
