Games and Dreams

article:

Test it on the military first, that's what I always say.
But, I find this research very interesting.
However, could the research have been handled differently?
(I suggest reading the source link for more information on how the research was conducted.)
But this is a good start for our quest for higher video game knowledge.

How have games influenced our dreams?

How have games influenced us on a subconscious level?

Should we look into this?

Do you hardcore gamers have nightmares?

thoughts?

  1. I'm wondering what their definition of a 'hardcore gamer' is. I wouldn't consider myself to be one. My sleep routine is pretty normal.

Over the break, I dreamt that my grandparents were going to be executed in Skyrim. It was really scary. The whole time, my grandparents were yelling things like, "But I don't know how to play videogames!"

  2. I have Skyrim dreams every night as well, and wake up mumbling things about the Thalmor and not having enough armor. I, too, wonder what the definition of a 'hardcore gamer' is, because I get to bed at good hours, but would still consider myself a gamer.
