I'm familiar with The Giver, but not with Child of Eden. So I'm sorry if I'm totally off.
I read that in the scenario of Eden, the player is stopping a virus attack from destroying artificial intelligence. player versus simulated corruption.
In The Giver, the community exists the way it does to prevent what they consider corruption by promoting ignorance. The Giver himself is the pool where what they consider is corruption is collected.
Would having a human AI corrupt Eden? What is the corruption that the player is fighting against? As the player, are we defining what common knowledge is in that world? And who is Lumi?
