Swords
Hey guys, I assume a bunch of us gamers have used swords in multiple games, but I was wondering how many of you actually own a real sword in real life. I'm thinking about using this info for a project, and if any of you do happen to own a sword, please comment a picture of the sword and an explanation of why you own one. Thank you!

My katana
ReplyDeleteTechnically, this isn't mine, it's my dad's. The only reason I have it at the moment is because I used it for a video project last Spring and keep forgetting to take it back home, haha.
Doesn't mean it doesn't have a long and fabled history! My dad got this katana when he took a kendo class many years ago. Not sure if he mastered how to wield it, but I do know he brandished it at a would-be burglar and scared the dude off.
Hahaha! I love the fact your dad frightened a burglar off with a sword! That's awesome! And thanks again for the reply, very helpful! :D
ReplyDeletewell i dont think i can upload a photo as a comment on a post, but its a wooden katana with padding on it, but still can pack a punch. but anyways i just found it in the basement of this house i lived in a few years ago, left by some previous owner and thought it was cool and help onto it.
