How to turn an critical essay into a game...

ok so another crazy idea that i just have to at least throw out there. what if created a bank of all your sources, quotes, examples and such, created some kind of profile for each and numbered them off in a separate "manuel", "guild" or "character/item list". then write your paper like you normally would but anywhere you used a quote, example, etc, you simply put a blank spot. as the reader goes through the article they will have to fill in the key elements by using the manuel, which they will probably have to study and possibly conduct some research. they will be forced to truly learn and comprehend everything you are trying to convey, or they wont understand any of it at all. this however, as it stands is just a puzzle, it requires the user to determine if they are right or not. i have a couple ideas on how to turn it into a game but could use some incite (i mean ill take thoughts on any part). i was thinking maybe have a submission that is a simple right or wrong, not which part is wrong, then time the player (did you see that sheistiness? how i went from that reader to user to player... "1-UP" right? check it, holla) adding extra time penalties at the end for doing outside research. again just an idea, i was thinking about. maybe some post-presentation work on project 2. but ya give me some thoughts.
