I think you need to inject a narrative into this - through title cards, narration...anything. I mean, the project is about explaining an aspect of game culture to the masses, and even with the Marx quotes, I don't think anyone who isn't familiar with Warcraft III will understand exactly what it is (or at least the depth of what) you're trying to convey. Your first write-up about the project was great, because you crafted this intriguing story about otherwise non-narrative gameplay - I especially liked that detail about how the queen discarded her trinkets like they were nothing.
Like I said in your last post, try going for a propaganda newsreel angle. Or if you don't want to go that intense, the documentaries of filmmaker Werner Herzog I think would be a great model.
I've updated it again taking your comments to heart. Not sure I can do a newsreel angle at this point because of time constraints, but I like the idea.
